Phoenix, Ariz. – Lerner & Rowe Gives Back has granted $20,000 to support children served by the Center for the Rights of Abused Children’s Pro Bono Children’s Law Clinic. The funds will exclusively fund emergency legal aid for abused and neglected children.
"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lerner & Rowe Gives Back for empowering vulnerable children in our community with access to attorneys who advocate for their rights to a safe, loving home," said Darcy Olsen, Founder and CEO of the Center for the Rights of Abused Children.
The Lerner & Rowe Gives Back philanthropic program serves children in need across the community. “We believe it is our responsibility to advocate for and improve the lives of children who live in poverty…or otherwise need assistance. There is no reason that any child should go without,” says Kevin Rowe. "We are proud to support the Center for the Rights of Abused Children in its mission to ensure children are safe and loved.’
The Center for the Rights of Abused Children helps abused and neglected children by providing legal advice and representation free of charge. The clinic is a lifeline for children and young adults who have aged out of foster care and face adulthood alone.
